We need to let him prove himself a little more before he does covers. At least Cudi had 808’s and Heartbreaks. Shame on you COMPLEX.
WORST COMPLEX COVER EVER (next to Kid Cudi’s of course)
Damn LUPE, why knock the hustle?
So this mixtape isn’t official, but it still has your music on it. Why throw it up on your blog like that with no love? They’re just promoting you. I think you was on top of that mountain for too long.
Group We Miss.. Lost Boyz

Let me tell you bout this group I heard a track from one day… the Lost Boyz is by far not the best lyrical rap group has ever seen BUT they were without a doubt one of the most notable hit makers before the group saw tragedy destroy their dynamics. Mr. Cheeks, Pretty Lou, Spigg Nice and Freaky Tah (RIP) had the summer of ‘96 going crazy with ”Jeeps, Lex Coups, Bimaz & Benz”, ”Music Makes Me High”, ”Lifestyles of the Rich & Shameless” and of course one of the tracks that just had every lady in the city hitting up John Jay “Renee”. Their Second LP “Love, Peace and Napiness” also found good success on radio and also in the stores so it seemed that the group had a great future ahead of them, unfortunately Freaky Tah was killed on March 28,1999 after a Mr. Cheeks birthday party and the group never fully recovered. Spigg Nice was convicted in ‘04 of various bank robberies and is serving 37 yrs in prison as I type this (hold your head fam).
Its crazy sometimes I sit back and think of what could’ve been if not for the misfortunes that fell on this group of friends from South Jamaica, Queens. The Lost Boyz will always be on my list of best groups due to the hits they made in the short time they had as a whole unit. Mr. Cheeks has released 3 solo albums and has had a few moments in the light but although he was the main vocals in the group he hasn’t been able to grab that spot he once held so easily. The remaining members of the group did attempt to bring back the glory with 2 albums but just couldn’t find that formula that got them in that elusive space they once held and that many artists can never obtain. I appreciate the work you guys put in to your music, every sweat and tear could be heard thru your music something that many artist in this era are missing.
Where da F@*k is Flo+rida?

What happened to the Mr. “Low” man himself Flo-ria. At one point this guy wouldn’t get off the TV or your radio. Now he’s vanished in thin air. Even the homie Jamie Foxx bashed him a bit by saying Flo’s music isn’t really hip hop. Well, he was right on the money with that. Flo-rida forgot about rap right after “Low” was in the Tropic Thunder movie. He figured he would play it safe and make corny songs for spring breakers. Nice knowing you Mr. Flo-Rida. Good riddens.
Never too late for school - Profile: Gravy

Well Jamal Woolard you did a hell of a job on the “Notorious” movie, too bad you can’t make shit happen in your own music career. The biggest “hit” you had is when that bullet struck you in front of the Hot 97 building. I suggest that maybe you reconsider your approach at this rap game, can I suggest maybe going the “Overweight Lover” route? Just like the previous “Subject” Guerilla Black I honestly thought you had a chance but for some reason im starting to believe that it’s not about skill but actually about the weight… maybe you and Black can get on that treadmill and start a new group… Gravy this is not a diss but more of a push to prove us wrong. Go into that studio and make some hits! Everyone thought that with the “Notorious” performance you did, that your music career was going to be just as great but instead some people would rather see you stop rapping and start acting… do what you want fam sky’s the limit.
